the Do-It-Yourself MINI-DOZER®! It shares many of the same chassis components from the assembled RT1150, but is half the price. The MD196K is a belt clutch driven D-I-Y kit, so you do the painting and Assembly….and save a bundle! If you’re looking to pull smaller logs, make a garden, grade a driveway, plow snow, this may be the perfect machine for you. Many manual attachments are offered for the MINI-DOZER® MD196K, including: rippers, blades, rakes, box scrapers, draw-bars, and a handy 2″ receiver hitch: perfect for towing wagons and self propelled garden tillers. DIY Kit Assembly Made Easy
If you know the difference between a phillips and a flat head screwdriver, you can successfully build this hard-working mini bulldozer. You’ll need only basic DIY tools like socket wrenches, allen wrenches, tape measure, etc. If you’re an intermediate or advanced DIYer you’ll still find it plenty engaging. Robotically Welded, Steel Track System with TCP™ Technology
The TCP™ system is a consistent and precise trademarked steel track design, that consists of matched rear drive and front idler sprockets. Simultaneously engaging both track chains, provides redundancy in case of debris interference.
NEW Rubber Track Option
Travel on any surface! – Rocky terrain, gravel, nice lawns, concrete, blacktop, etc. Will not scratch driveways or garage floors! These “Contractor Grade” rubber tracks will give you the Power & Traction you’re looking for, but with the “Velvet Touch” of Rubber! Rubber tracks consist of a continuous steel core band, and forged steel metal bars.
Zero Turn Technology and No Shifting Gears
The MINI-DOZER® turns 360 degrees in half the space. Because you can rotate the tracks in opposite directions at the same time, the MINI-DOZER® MD196K turns in it’s own length. The MINI-DOZER® MD196K turns in just over 5 ft. A comparably powered compact tractor requires more than twice the space – over 10 ft. of clear space to turn around. Left and right drive handles are centered with the operator, giving easy access to left and right track controls. Instant power to forward and reverse, means no shifting gears, just push one handle forward and the other rearward to turn on a dime.
Smart Throttle and Choke
While firmly seated from the operator seat, you can fully operate the MINI-DOZER® MD196K. Dash mounted throttle and choke, make the MINI-DOZER® MD196K easy to start, with no need to get off of the unit to mess with any controls.
Easy Access Hood and Engine Compartment
Simple and easy to turn hood knobs, give quick access to the engine compartment, while strong pivot bolts allow the hood to stay up for easy fuel refilling and checking of engine oil level. Thoughtfully designed grill, allows for engine exhaust to come straight out of the MINI-DOZER®, away from the operator.
Convenience and Safety
Deluxe non slip pads offer additional safety on a wet, damp day. Simple to use pull brake allows for easy access to the brake while going down a hill or for transport on a trailer. Strong, well designed fenders and fender brackets support even the heavier operator.
